TUI sells off Thomson Al Fresco
Thomson Al Fresco has been purchased by French holiday homes company, Homair Vacances, for an undisclosed sum.
In a statement, Homair said the former TUI division would continue to operate from its existing base in Bury and hold its trademark rights operating under the Thomson Al Fresco brand.
All 27 staff will be retained.
Homair Vacances operates homes on 102 parcs throughout Europe, in France, Italy, Spain and Croatia.
Thomson Al Fresco has 45 parcs in France, Spain, Italy, Holland and Croatia.
As a result of the acquisition a further six new parcs are being added to the group’s portfolio.
