Tulalip showing up on convention map
The small city of Tulalip, Washington, (population: under 10,000) has never been known for its meeting market but that’s about to change with the opening of the 4-star Tulalip Resort Casino in the next few months.
The city is 30 minutes from Seattle and has a host of freshwater creeks, lakes, wetlands and surrounding forests.
The 370-room resort will have a 30,000-square-foot meeting and conference space. Room amenities include 42-inch plasma TVs, complimentary wireless and a chaise lounge.
The casino will have 50 table games, more than 2,000 slots and a 7,000-square-foot “higher-limit’ gambling space. Shopping at Seattle’s Premium Outlets is also within walking distance.
Outdoor activities include whale-watching on Puget Sound, historical tours of the area, and ferry rides to surrounding islands.
