Turkish Airlines teams up with Ivy Life
Turkish Airlines has become the Official Airline of Ivy Life.
The partnership with the Ivy Life Alumni Network, an all-Ivy business networking community with more than 50,000 members and 30 chapters worldwide, will align Turkish Airlines global network flying to 243 destinations worldwide with Ivy Life’s international members.
The airline will reach the Ivy Life business community through the sponsorship of the alumni association’s events, including the "Rivalry on Ice" hockey showdown between Harvard and Yale on January 11 at Madison Square Garden, and the recent Harvard vs. Yale football game.
Turkish Airlines will also offer special promotional offers and giveaways to Ivy Life members at local alumni events, including serving as exclusive sponsor at Ivy alumni golf events later this year.
Turkish Airlines currently flies from gateways in five US cities: New York, Los Angeles, Washington, D.C., Chicago and Houston.
In May 2014, the airline will open its sixth gateway in Boston.
Turkish Airlines also sponsors numerous top-tier global sporting events and teams, including the Turkish Airlines Open golf tournament, and has partnerships with Euroleague Basketball, Germany’s Borussia Dortmund and France’s Olympique de Marseille.
Professional basketball player Kobe Bryant and football legend Lionel Messi currently serve as Turkish Airlines’ global brand ambassadors.
