Two die in attack on Mali tourist resort
Gunmen have attacked a tourist resort in Mali, killing two people and injuring two more.
Over 30 guests have been rescued from the resort, Le Campement Kangaba, east of the capital Bamako.
Mali Security Minister Salif Traore said: "It is a jihadist attack. Malian special forces intervened and hostages have been released
"Unfortunately for the moment there are two dead, including a Franco-Gabonese."
Four men, believed to be the attackers, have been killed by security forces.
