Two more directors to leave TUI Travel
TUI Travel has announced a further shake-up which has led to the loss of two more directors.
The operator is to merge its ski division with its UK and Ireland specialist holiday division to form a single Specialist Holiday Group, to be led by Mathew Prior, currently managing director of TUI Ski.
TUI Ski commercial director Simon Cross will be promoted to managing director TUI Ski, reporting to Prior.
Colin Parselle, currently TUI Ski finance director, will become finance director of SHG.
Ian Simkins and Rory Verner, currently managing director and finance director of UK & Ireland Specialist Division, will leave the company. The division consists of several brands including Austravel, Citalia, Sovereign and Hayes & Jarvis.
TUI announced last week that three senior executives, customer services director Tim Williamson, strategic planning director Neil Morris and IT director Keith Newman were leaving following a rationalisation of the Board.
