Two tour operators join ABTA
Superbreak Mini Holidays and USAirtours have joined ABTA.
US Airtours MD Guy Novik said: “USAirtours only sells through travel agents and in these times of financial uncertainty, customers are looking to deal with companies they can trust.
“As the ABTA logo signifies both professionalism and security, now was the right time for us to rejoin ABTA and support the trade through these challenging times.”
Bob Baddeley, group finance director of Superbreak’s parent company Holidaybreak PLC, said: “More than 50% of Superbreak’s sales are now packages.
“For us ABTA membership offers both the best route to protect our customers and to demonstrate the financial strength and security of the company.”
Mark Tanzer ABTA chief executive said both companies will be “excellent ambassadors for the association”.
