Two tourists shot dead in Acapulco
Two Mexican tourists were shot and killed in Acapulco.
A woman was also wounded in the shooting close to the beach near the resort.
The tourists were riding ATVs at the time.
The suspects rode up to them on a motorbike and fired.
Acapulco has been plagued by cartel violence for many years, which has affected tourism at the one-time tourist hotspot for the rich and famous.
Five people were gunned down in an Acapulco bar in December.
Authorities say the two men are thought to be tourists but haven’t ruled a gang related motive.
Just before Easter the government sent more troops to guard tourist zones in Acapulco and Cancun.
