Typhoon claims about 200 lives

About 200 people have been killed by a powerful typhoon that is sweeping across the southern Philippines.
At least 156 are known to have died in Compostela Valley province when Typhoon Bopha struck Mindanao, said the BBC.
The storm is now over the western island of Palawan and is expected to head out into the South China Sea tomorrow.
