UK agents take Galapagos fam trip with NatGeo-Lindblad
National Geographic-Lindblad Expeditions recently hosted its first-ever fam trip for UK agents – a nine-night Showcase at Sea in the Galápagos Islands.
It took in all four ships in the Galápagos fleet.
The trip was hosted by Danielle Bates, Head of UK Sales representing National Geographic-Lindblad Expeditions co-brand.
The nine agents came from Panache Cruises, Mundy Cruising, Travel Counsellors, Latin Routes, Iglu and Fred. Olsen Travel.
A representative from the Expedition Cruise Network also attended.
The group joined National Geographic Endeavour II’s 10-day Exploring Galápagos expedition, during which they enjoyed activities such as deep water snorkelling, kayaing, photography instruction, hikes, and visits to the Charles Darwin Centre and a giant tortoise sanctuary.
They were also treated to a deck BBQ and a party onboard to celebrate crossing the equator.
They also visited the three other ships in the Galápagos fleet, learned about the Explorers in Training programme for kids and teens and had a tour of Quito with site inspections of the three hotels the company offers.
Danielle Bates said: “Our trade partners are vital and this Showcase at Sea acts as a catalyst for what we expect to deliver in 2026 and beyond. It was such an amazing opportunity to introduce the agents to the destination and our entire fleet.”
“This was my second visit to the Galápagos and seeing it through other people’s eyes for the first time made it even more special. It really is a transformative travel experience.”
