UK airlines forced to cancel flights tomorrow

Airlines have reported cancellations for tomorrow after French air traffic services announced strike action for 24 hours.
The industrial action, which is part of a public service strike on March 18, will affect flights to and from France as well as those flying over French airspace.
It will also affect public transport within France.
Ryanair has cancelled 26 flights to/from France tomorrow and warned further flight delays and cancellations should be expected.
Ryanair’s Robin Kiely said: " All passengers scheduled to fly on Tuesday 18th March should check the status of their flight on the Ryanair.com website – where updates will be published – before travelling to the airport."
EasyJet said it has had to cancel a number of flights into and out of France with all passengers booked on those flights being advised via its Flight Tracker, text message, and email.
It said: "We would also like to advise you that public transport will likely be affected and you should consider this in your transportation plans to allow sufficient time to get to the airport."
British Airways said it would be updating its website with details of firm cancellations but believed these would mostly be in multiple frequency destinations where the airline flies up to 12 times a day.
Its statement said: "We are doing everything we can to help our customers on the handful of
flights affected by industrial action by French air traffic controllers.
"Like all airlines we have to comply with the mandate from the French authorities to reduce our flying schedules to parts of France due to industrial action by air traffic controllers."
Ryanair said: "We are not yet certain of the level of disruption expected."
The airline said that it would update any cancellations on its website later today.
