UK based Exodus offering adventure travel packages for Indians
UK-based adventure travel firm Exodus has inked a strategic marketing partnership with Active Holiday Company to offer Indian customers organised adventure travel packages within India and worldwide.
Founded 40 years ago, Exodus provides low cost and premium small group adventure tours to six continents including trekking, sailing and adventure pursuits ranging from 5 to 22 days in length.
"Adventure does not have to be uncomfortable or inconvenient and that is what Exodus trips are all about. From trekking to cycling and sailing, Indian travellers are doing more than we as an industry know and the time has come for the industry to go to them, rather than waiting for them to research service providers who can help them tick things off their bucket list," said Gauri Jayaram, founder of Active Holiday Company.
To kick off the partnership, Exodus is offering a 5% discount on all trips booked before January 31, 2015.
"As India continues to accelerate in the global economy, we believe the time is right to introduce a concept of travel that India has not really had access to," added Exodus international sales manager, Andrew Appleyard.
Exodus has operated tours in India for several years and has funded social projects such as the Save the Tiger program in Bandhavgarh National Park.
