United Airlines axes India flights
Steering clear of Russian airspace, United Airlines has suspended flights to Mumbai and Delhi in India. The carrier says it is a ‘temporary’ measure.
Russia banned airlines from 36 countries from using its airspace in a retaliatory move. The EU previously closed its airspace to Russian airlines.
American Airlines is continuing flights to India by rerouting south of Russia for its New York-Delhi service.
