United Airlines rolls out Covid test scheduling tool
United Airlines launched the Travel-Ready Center—a new single digital source for all Covid entry requirements and related information.
Customers can review the requirements for specific destinations, search for local testing facilities and then upload their test results and vaccination records all in one place.
United says it is the first airline so far to integrate the features into its mobile app and website.
Customers with a flight booking get access to the Travel-Ready Center feature through the ‘My Trips’ section of the United App or website.
"Travel-Ready Center gives customers a personalized, step-by-step guide of what is needed for their trip, a simple way to upload required documents and quickly get their boarding pass, fully integrated within our app and website," the airline said.
It lists more than 15,000 testing sites that customer can select to schedule a Covid test direct on the app or website.
It also offers an ‘Agent on Demand’ video chat service for customers to speak with a customer service agent to get answers to any questions.
United plans to add more features to the Travel-Ready Center platform in the coming weeks and months.
