United Airlines rolls out real time travel updates on Apple Watch
United live activities are now available on Apple Watch.
This gives travelers real time travel updates right from their wrist.
The new feature follows the rollout of Live Activities for iPhone last year which helps millions of travelers with easy access to boarding pass, gate and seat number, and countdown clock to departure in real time.
This provides important info without having to open the United app.
United live activities can be found in the Smart Stack on Apple Watch.
Travelers will see the flight details update on their Apple Watch throughout their travel which includes the gate number, seat, baggage carousel
United fliers can access key flight information in real-time, like countdown to boarding, and more.
Customers can tap the Live Activity notification to open the United app at any time.
Support for Live Activities rolled out to United travelers with Apple Watch running watchOS 11.
