United Airlines sends rap star’s dog to the wrong airport
United Airlines is in the dog house once again after sending a pooch to the wrong airport.
The dog is the prized pet of rapper ScHoolboy Q, who took to Twitter to vent his anger.
The rapper, real name Quincy Matthew Hanley, was traveling to Burbank, CA with the French bulldog puppy with the flamboyant name of Yeeerndamean.
Transiting in Denver, the puppy was mistakenly switched with another canine.
"You guys r idiots @united. How u put my dog on the wrong flight???? I need answers," he tweeted.
"I plan on suing," he said.
United quickly released a statement: "We’re working as quickly as possible to reunite the pet with their owner. Pets are part of our customers’ family, and their safety and wellbeing is of the upmost importance to us."
This is one of the few United mishaps with a happy ending as the rapper later announced he was reunited with his prized pooch.
United issued a second statement confirmed the dog was returned safely to the rapper.
"Our customer’s dog was safely reunited with its owner. We have reached out to our customer and sincerely apologize for this mistake and are providing a refund."
