United wants to add more Mexico routes
United Airlines says it has applied to fly five new routes to Mexico.
The routes would be from Chicago and Los Angeles.
If government approval is granted, United wants to get underway this winter.
United also plans more flights from its Denver hub with Saturday service to Cozumel next month and daily service to Mexico City in December.
United also plans three new daily Ted routes between Los Angeles and Cabo San Lucas, Puerto Vallarta and Cancun.
