Unmanaged business travelers offered new online resource
Expedia.com® launched its new Business Travel resource for unmanaged
business travelers — those who book their business travel on their own as
opposed to through a corporate travel department or full-service corporate
travel management company.
Expedia.com Business Travel offers offering tools and information not available from any other online travel agency, according to Expedia.
“We understand the unique needs of unmanaged business travelers and have developed a travel booking resource that speaks directly to their needs and helps them make confident travel decisions,” said Paul Brown, president, Expedia, North America.
Expedia.com says its Mileage Manager tool makes it the first online travel agency to enable business travelers to manage and track multiple travel rewards program totals in one place.
The company also says its Expedia.com ThankYou rewards program “takes travel rewards to a new level” — delivering the freedom to earn rewards points across multiple travel providers, and providing more choices and flexibility in redeeming rewards.
It also provides no need to give up current frequent flier programs – “in most cases, travelers can still earn their frequent flier program points when booking on Expedia.com by simply entering their membership number at the time of booking or check-in,” the company says.
Expedia® customers can try the service free for 30 days. A one-year subscription is $4.95.
