Unruly passenger incidents plummeted after mask mandate dropped
Incidents of unruly passenger behaviour plunged significantly after the in-flight mask mandate was halted.
The Federal Aviation Administration says the number of incidents fell 74%.
The mask mandate was struck down in a court ruling in April.
Before the mandate was halted there were an average 6.4 unruly passenger incidents per week.
That dropped to 2.2 after the mandate was scrapped.
