Vertical Systems names new MD
Rob Barker has been appointed as the new managing director for Vertical Systems, with immediate effect.
His promotion comes just two years after his return to the travel technology business into the role of business and development director.
The MD role has not been filled for two years since the last MD, Mike Russell, left.
Barker will now spearhead both customer and revenue growth.
Vertical Travel Group CEO Peter Healey said: "Rob has extensive experience in travel technology and knows our business well; his engagement with our young team and new breed of developers will take Vertical to the next level.
"We remain an established, successful business but we cannot stand still. I am confident that Rob’s leadership will continue to position us at the forefront of the travel technology sector."
