Vibe appoints Australia-based BDM to drive APAC expansion
Booking tech solutions firm Vibe has appointed Graham Whyte as Business Development Manager, APAC to lead its expansion in Australia, New Zealand and across Asia Pacific.
Based on Australia’s Gold Coast, his role will be to expand the group’s operations in the region.
His previous experience includes at Sabre, where he was the Regional Commercial Manager, and has over 30 years of senior travel industry experience, including at Travelport and Virtuoso in Australia, New Zealand and the US.
The appointment follows the recent appointment of Steve Barrass as the Interim CEO of Vibe to drive international growth and strategy.
Vibe is powering the technology behind the newly launched travel agency website of the The Royal Automobile Association (RAA), which provides motor, home and travel products and services to more than 780,000 members based in South Australia.
Martin Eade, co-founder and e-commerce director of Vibe said: “As we’ve taken clients on in the region, it seemed only natural to have someone on the ground locally. Graham’s vast array of experience, along with his strong network in the region, makes him uniquely qualified.”
