Vibe appoints non-executive director
Travel tech solutions firm Vibe has appointed Stephane Durand as Non-Executive Director.
He brings over 30 years of travel industry experience at Europcar International and Amadeus IT Group.
It includes senior international roles in the US and in Europe, where most recently he was the Managing Director of Amadeus France.
In this Non-Executive Director role, he will be focused on global growth for the business, particularly in the US.
Durand said: “I have long been an admirer of Vibe’s versatile technology and innovation, along with its strong sense of commitment and engagement with clients.”
“Joining them in their international development is a big privilege and I look forward to the role I can play.”
The appointment follows that of Steve Barrass who joined as CEO late last year with a mandate to drive international growth and strategy.
Travel tech provider Vibe offers booking solutions to OTAs, retail agents, airlines, resellers, TMCs and corporate travel bookers.
“We are excited to have someone of Stephane’s calibre on board with his invaluable international experience, particularly in the US,” said Phil Cook, founder of Vibe.
