Video raises awareness of French ski resorts
Atout France and France Montagnes have hailed a recent video campaign a success after racking up over 400,000 views in the first week.
The video project, called ‘Overheard in French Ski Resorts‘, was launched as part of its winter social media campaign.
The campaign is designed to increase the visibility and boost the image of French mountain resorts on the UK market by challenging certain preconceptions about the customer experience in France.
"The first project was a video highlighting the minor, and often both hilarious and charming, cultural and linguistic challenges facing British skiers in France, which anyone that has been skiing in France will instantly recognise," it said.
The video was hosted on the French Mountains Facebook page and got over 10,000 likes and 4,500 overwhelmingly positive comments.
Other projects will run throughout the season, including competitions and sharable posters.
