Vietjet introducing Melbourne flights
Low-cost airline Vietjet is launching Melbourne flights from Ho Chi Minh City.
Vietjet will operate three return flights between Melbourne and Ho Chi Minh City from April.
It will operate Airbus A330 aircraft and plans to expand to daily service by December 2024.
“We are thrilled to welcome Vietjet and to be part of their Australia expansion,” said airport CEO Lorie Argus.
“Vietnam is both a popular destination and an important source market.”
Vietjet offers onward flight connections via HCMC to destinations including India, Japan and South Korea.
