Villa specialist adapts to no-frills market
One accommodation provider says it is cashing-in on a trend by holidaymakers to spend the money they saved on a no-frills flight to upgrade their accommodation.
Solmar Villas says it has enhanced its portfolio of properties and is offering no-frills flights as an inclusive option. The independent villa specialist says it’s programme for 2004 has combined exclusive properties with less well-known resorts and no-frills flights.
Solmar says it offers upmarket villas in Cyprus, Lanzarote, Mallorca, Menorca and the Costa del Sol.
More unusual destinations are apparently going down well with British holidaymakers. They are vitising places they hadn’t previously heard of like the island of Gozo, and on Malta: Xaghra, San Lawrenz and Ghajnsielem.
