Virgin Atlantic shifting Vegas flights to London Heathrow
Virgin Atlantic will launch London Heathrow-Las Vegas flights from spring 2019.
It is a shift from its current service to Las Vegas from London Gatwick, due to the growing importance of Vegas to the UK MICE market.
Flights will go on sale from this Saturday.
The airline is also adding a second daily Boston service.
The new Las Vegas flights will be operated by Boeing 787 aircraft while the new Boston service will be operated by an Airbus A330-300.
Both flights have been timed to make onward connections easier for UK and US customers.
Las Vegas flights from Heathrow launch on March 31 2019, departing London at 12:40pm and Las Vegas at 19:05.
A second daily service between London Heathrow and Boston will launch on the same day, departing London Heathrow at 20:30 and from Boston at 08:30.
