Virgin Blue lures Amcor from Qantas
A report in The Australian says that while Qantas has had a firm stranglehold on the big corporates in this country since time immemorial, the shock defection of Top 50 company Amcor as a corporate client to arch-rival Virgin, has ruffled more than the odd feather at Mascot.
It is reported that Qantas management were so upset, that envoys were despatched to Amcor to personally collect Qantas Chairman’s Lounge passes from individual Amcor executives.
The Australian says, now that’s personalised service for you!
