Virgin Holidays goes Down Under
Virgin Holidays has released an Australia and New Zealand brochure on the back of planned new London-Sydney flights.
The programme brings together three Virgin companies – Virgin Holidays, Virgin Atlantic Airways and Australian domestic airline, Virgin Blue.
The 48-page 2005 brochure offers holidays starting at £919 plus offers including free night offers, room upgrades and meals.
Virgin Atlantic service to Australia via Hong Kong are due to start route in December but its tour arm is also using other airlines including Singapore Airlines, Malaysia Airlines, Air New Zealand and Emirates.
Holiday options include beach stays, city stays, escorted tours, fly-drives, independent moto home touring and overnight tours. Pre-bookable excursions include the Sydney Harbour Bridge Climb and Great Barrier Reef cruises.
The brochure includes round-the-world itineraries, with prices from under £1,700. Worldwide stopovers include Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Dubai, Los Angeles, Hawaii and Fiji.
