Virgin launches new agent sales incentive

Monday, 22 Dec, 2011 0

Virgin Holidays has launched a new sales incentive offering agents up to £20 for every passenger booked from tomorrow.

The incentive, which is part of Virgin's peak sale campaign, enables agents to earn £10 per passenger for online and sales centre bookings, doubling to £20 for Walt Disney Hotels, Almond Hotels and Virgin Holiday Exclusive properties.

Each week from January 2, there will be a chance to win an iPad2 through the Virgin Holiday agent website.

Virgin's sale campaign will include TV adverts, starting on Boxing Day, which will see a revival of the fictional group Danke Schons.

Running until mid-January, the ads will highlight deals in key destinations including Florida, the Caribbean and Dubai.

It will be supported by display and classified press advertising, advertising in London underground stations, and email and direct mail activity.

A social media push has already begun, which gives Virgin Holidays’ Facebook community the chance to win a holiday.
