Virgin Voyages takes delivery of second ship
Virgin Voyages has introduced its latest ship – Valiant Lady.
The line’s second ship will be previewed around the UK coastline in Tilbury and Liverpool before sailing from Portsmouth in March and from new homeport in Barcelona in May.
Valiant Lady features 1,330 cabins and 78 RockStar Quarters with 86% having a balcony and 93% with ocean views.
"We are so excited to debut Valiant Lady to the UK this March and begin our European tour. The lifting of UK travel restrictions has already shown promising signs with 70% uplift in bookings since December," Tom McAlpin, CEO of Virgin Voyages, said.
It will sail Long Weekender short cruises to Zeebrugge and a 2-night one-way voyage from Portsmouth to Barcelona. Stops include Palma de Mallorca and overnight stays in Lisbon.
From Barcelona Valiant Lady will sail various seven-night cruises around the Mediterranean through October.
