Visit Florida launches dedicated travel pages for military members
As the nation took time out to honor active and former military members on Veterans Day, Visit Florida unveiled a new dedicated webpage for service members.
The Military Travel section has listings of military events, historical sites, monuments, museums, as well as details about using military discounts for tours, car rentals, flights, and visits to theme parks.
"Since taking office, I have made it a priority to enhance Florida’s reputation as one of the most veteran-friendly states in the nation. VIisit Forida’s new military travel hub expands this initiative," said Florida Gov. Ron deSantis.
The Sunshine State remains ‘committed to ensuring military members, veterans, and their families feel welcome’ said Visit Florida president and CEO Dana Young.
Tourism remains the state’s top revenue-generating industry which contributed about $85.9 billion to the state’s economy in 2017.
