VisitBritain will host over 120 international travel trade buyers for educational visits.

From 28 January, itineraries begin to destinations across England, Wales and Scotland.

They showcase the latest tourism products to international buyers.

Buyers from 16 international markets will participate.

These include the UK’s top three markets, the US, France and Germany.

VisitBritain CEO Patricia Yates said: “We are delighted to be showcasing Britain to drive bookings.”

“Working with the international travel trade is crucial to ensuring they are ready to sell Britain.”

All itineraries include London before visits to destinations including Manchester, Liverpool and the Lake District.

Others include Bath, Bristol and the Cotswolds and Newcastle and Northumberland.

The hosted visits are part of the ‘Showcase Britain’ event, which gets underway with a networking event on 26 January.

VisitBritain’s latest forecast for 2023 estimates 35.1 million inbound visits to the UK.
