VisitGuersney launches first TV campaign in 10 years
VisitGuernsey launched its first TV ad in ten years yesterday, which will air throughout February.
The three ads, set in spring, summer and autumn, feature a day in the life of visitors with the new brand motto running through the narrative, ‘Great Things Happen In Guernsey’.
Pre broadcast test surveys found that after watching the advert, 72% confirmed that the ad would encourage them to either make a booking or an enquiry and 80% of those surveyed had not visited Guernsey before.
The new ads are part of VisitGuernsey’s wider strategy for 2015 which incorporates a new brand identity and website.
Guernsey is looking to attract those aged 33-54 who are married or co-habiting, are high earners and book two-four holidays a year and ‘spirited independents’ as well as those aged 35-64 with no children living at home who take up to six short breaks a year.
