VisitKorea website gets an upgrade
The Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) has upgraded its website into an integrated tourism marketing platform to help boost awareness and tourist visits.
The online platform is available in multiple languages including Chinese, Spanish, German, Japanese, French and Russian.
It now has more user-friendly options for travel planning purposes.
The ‘Plan your trip’ section allows users to create a personalised itinerary.
The other sections are ‘Where to go’ and ‘Things to do.’
The ‘Where to go’ section offers dozens of new itineraries recommended by local celebrities and travel experts.
On the ‘Things to Do’ sector users can select a package based on specific themes and interests such as UNESCO World Heritage tours, wellness, ‘Hallyu’ culture and more.
To mark the upgrade, KTO is offering special perks for members such as tour and accommodation vouchers, concert tickets and more.
