Vistara revamps frequent flyer programme

Sunday, 28 Sep, 2016 0
Indian full service carrier Vistara has launched a newly revamped frequent flyer programme.

The Club Vistara loyalty scheme is now live and new qualification criteria will be applied retrospectively for customers.

A new Platinum Tier has been added to the programme.

Club Vistara member benefits include additional baggage allowance, priority check-in and boarding and vouchers for complimentary upgrades and lounge access, depending on status.

"In response to the evolving needs of our frequent flyers, we have enhanced our programme and introduced new features that are relevant and important to them," chief executive Phee Teik Yeoh said in a statement.

"We are confident that the revamp of the Club Vistara programme will delight the members and draw more travellers to Vistara."

"The airline is also offering all existing members an exclusive limited period 50% discount for redeeming award flights and upgrades in all classes, as a mark of gratitude for their loyalty," the statement said.

The airline says it offers the fastest way to earn and redeem award flights in the industry and the quickest route to gain elite tier upgrades.
