Vote now for Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos awards
HO CHI MINH CITY – -The inaugural Tourism Alliance Awards (TAA) will complement the International Travel Expo, Ho Chi Minh City, in October.
The awards are co-organised by IIR Exhibitions, Vietnam Tourism Association, Cambodian Association of Travel Agents, Cambodia Hotel Association and Laos Association of Travel Agents.
The Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, Ministry of Tourism, Cambodia, and Laos National Tourism Administration also support the inaugural TAA.
The first Tourism Alliance Awards are being promoted as a platform for recognition for quality excellence within the tourism industry in the three countries.
Rosalind Ng, managing director (Asia),IIR Exhibitions, said, “The awards provide a benchmark for best practice in the industry, as well as reinforce the value of the tourism industry.â€
The TAA aims to raise standards through a structured submission process of self-assessment through a detailed questionnaire.
This questionnaire is then submitted to and reviewed by a panel of industry professionals as well as representatives from the respective associations.
The inaugural TAA begins with 10 categories. Winners from each category will be announced at the TAA gala dinner on October 1.

¨ Domestic Airlines of the Year
¨ International Airlines of the Year
¨ Outbound Travel Operator of the Year
¨ Inbound Travel Operator of the Year
¨ Spa Operator of the Year
¨ Luxury Hotel of the Year
¨ Business Hotel of the Year
¨ Budget Hotel of the Year
¨ Resort Hotel of the Year
The online nominations can be made at www.itehcmc.com/taa from July 15.
The deadline for submissions is August 31
.
No fees are required for nominations for awards.
