Voyages Doubles Flights To Dunk Island
Voyages has annonced that it is is doubling the number of flights to Dunk Island for the winter school holidays to meet the demand for families wanting to escape the cold and head north for the tropical sunshine.
In addition to the existing twice-daily flights, two extra services are being added from June 20 to July 20 to cater for the increased demand in families travelling to Dunk Island for the annual school holiday break.
Voyages National Sales Manager Scott O’Neile said, “The June/July school holidays is a great time to visit Dunk Island, with the winter weather in North Queensland on average, a warm 26 degrees which allows guests to take full advantage of the fantastic scuba diving, snorkelling and water sports activities that are available”.
The additional flights, which are operated by Cairns-based Hinterland Aviation, will run to the current flight timetable which see flights departs Cairns at 1215 and 1430 daily and the flight taking approximately 45 minutes.
