Voyana predicts Down Under cruise boom

Thursday, 13 Mar, 2006 0

Cruise tour operator Voyana has issued a dedicated Cruise Down Under brochure – predicting increased interest in Australia and New Zealand itineraries.

The brochure features sailings from Sydney to Auckland with Princess Cruises as well as add-on options.

The programme allows hotel-based touring holidays to be tailormade around the 12-night cruise on Sapphire Princess between January and April, 2007. Prices start at £1,799 for a basic cruise package including flights, rising to £3,204 for a 29-night itinerary including a two-night stop-over in Singapore, visits to Cairns, Alice Springs, Melbourne, Sydney, Auckland and Hawke’s Bay.

Voyana managing director Mark Van Straten said: “Cruising is becoming more and more popular and this is especially true of the more exotic destinations such as the Far East and South America.

“It is clear people are happy to travel long haul for a holiday that opens up so much of a region in a stylish and luxurious way.

“Australia and New Zealand are destinations most of us dream about visiting and our programme allows you to see as much as possible in and easy and hassle free way.”
