Vroom! Vroom! The Stig is set for Sydney

Top Gear’s mystery racing driver The Stig will unveil the official programme for the world’s greatest outdoor track festival – Top Gear Festival Sydney – at a media call on January 24.

Top Gear Festival Sydney – being held at Sydney MotorSport Park on the weekend of March 9-10 – is hosted by Top Gear presenters Jeremy Clarkson, James May and The Stig

Headline content already announced includes the multiple F1 race winner Mark Webber and the Red Bull Racing Formula One team taking to a Sydney race circuit for the very first time; and Red Bull Racing Australia V8 Supercar team along with current V8 Supercars champion Jamie Whincup and racing legend Craig Lowndes.

The Top Gear Festival, which is making its debut in Australia, will include the opening round of the 2013 Radical Australia Cup, featuring two sprints and a 50-minute feature race of up to 30 cars.

The Touring Car Masters will showcase a selection of immaculately prepared racecars of the pre-1976 era, including Mustangs, Camaros, Chargers and Monaros.
