Wanted: The perfect Phuket vision
PHUKET: Thailand-based property developer C9 Hotelworks has launched a website and worldwide video competition urging the global community to interpret their idea of the perfect lifestyle on Phuket.
In association with the Mövenpick Residence Karon Beach, the PhuketPerfect.com website guides viewers to a dedicated page on the You Tube website where they can upload their idea of the perfect Phuket day or lifestyle.
The PhuketPerfect.com website was launched on the back of a television advertisement campaign, broadcast around the region on CNN.
Participants have been able to upload their videos illustrating the perfect Phuket lifestyle from March 1 with the competition closing on April 15. Winners will be announced on PhuketPerfect.com on April 30.
All details of the programme and uploading instructions can be found on PhuketPerfect.com with the grand prize being a week-long stay at the Mövenpick Residence.
Bill Barnett, managing director C9 Hotelworks, and Mövenpick Residence project marketer, says the promotion is not just about a single condominium development but a campaign to display the perfect tropical lifestyle Phuket offers all year round.
“Phuket is booming at the moment, both on the condominium investment front and on the tourist front and we hope this campaign shows to the world that Phuket is as wonderful as ever,” Barnett says.
“We believe we are leading the way with this campaign and we hope it brings some good results to Phuket and these ‘home movie’ videos will remain in cyberspace for years to come.”
The Mövenpick Residence condominiums have been launched for sale or alternatively are available for tourists who prefer their own contained living space while visiting Phuket.
The adjacent five-star Mövenpick Resort and Spa Karon Beach manages the apartments.
Thirty two-bedroom apartments make up the Mövenpick Residence.
