Web-based sales system for Hays Travel
Hays Travel is to introduce the latest version of Comtec’s EasySell web-based selling system.
The technology will be used at the independent agency’s 32 high street branches, telesales centre, with home workers and Hays’ Independence Group members.
The implementation will provide more than 650 Hays Travel users with a web-based travel sales and management tool offering full-season, lates and charter flight availability with over 70 tour operator brands.
Hays will be the first to deploy Comtec’s latest release, EasySell v2.0, following a successful pilot at its head office retail branch. The introduction will also include integration with Comtec’s travel agency management system, TravelCat, and will result in Comtec delivering Hays a complete front and back-office solution.
New features with EasySell v2.0 include ViewdataPlus and Enquiry integration into TravelCat, which Comtec says has been introduced to further improve user workflow and to provide rich brochure content at the point of sale.
Hays managing director John Hays said: “To maintain our leadership position in the independent travel agency sector, we are continuously evaluating how travel technology systems can help us to grow our business. We believe deploying EasySell v2.0 will ensure Hays continues to offer the highest level of service whilst further improving the productivity of our staff”.
Comtec sales director Richard Turner said: “Comtec has enjoyed a long-standing relationship with Hays Travel and we’re delighted that Hays has chosen to implement the latest release of EasySell. We believe EasySell v2.0 offers Hays the most complete leisure travel sales and management solution available.
