‘Webookit’ package for operators to be launched
Technology which claims to turn online brochure websites into live booking engines is to be unveiled at the Travel Technology Show.
The ‘Webookit’ package offers tour operators control over web bookings and is being launched by Mach Associates at the show on January 31-February 1 at Olympia in London
The system provides statistics about people who have not completed a booking, enabling the operator to check for bottlenecks in the process and amend it by moving pages or cutting out certain steps.
Webookit, which is linked to the MARS reservation system, automatically takes into account any changes.
The company says operators retain live control over the web booking process.
