Wendy Wu Tours prepping for restart of China tours
Wendy Wu Tours is set to resume group tours to China soon, after a gap of three years.
China announced all categories of visas for tourists are resuming from 15 March.
Wendy Wu said: “This is clearly a major milestone for tourism, and undoubtedly one of the most eagerly anticipated reopenings for Asia tourism.”
“We are in talks with China and are very confident that a move to resume issuing visas to UK travellers is imminent.”
The company also offers China tours for customers in Australia and New Zealand.
It is now preparing itself for one of the busiest times in its history.
This month alone enquiries are up almost 135% with nearly 75% of these about travel to China.
Wu added: “China is eagerly looking forward to welcoming visitors again.”
