WestJet making a comeback at Glasgow Airport
Canada based WestJet is planning a return to Glasgow Airport next summer, after a gap of four years.
It will launch flights from Toronto starting from May 15, 2026.
Additionally, a new route will debut from Toronto to Cardiff.
The Toronto-Glasgow service will run four times a week on Boeing 737 Max jets.
WestJet last served Glasgow in 2022, having launched the route in 2015.
The brand new Cardiff route will also operate four times a week from May 22, 2026.
“We are thrilled to welcome WestJet back to Glasgow. The airline’s decision to re-establish this route highlights its confidence in the Glasgow market,” said Chief commercial officer at AGS Airports, Matt Hazlewood.
