What Brits miss most – our bed and a cuppa

Our own bed and a cup of English tea are the items we crave most when holidaying abroad, according to a survey by Heathrow Express.

The Paddington to Heathrow train operator asked passengers what they missed most on holiday with the comfort of our bed the number one followed by a cuppa.

A shower or hot bath came in at three, a newspaper at four and it seems we miss beer and British food more than the dog with a pint coming in at number five, food at six with the hound only making number eight on our most-missed list.
