What business travellers want
What business travellers want most from a corporate travel service is competitive prices, according to Travelport.
A survey found that 65% of business travellers rated that their top concern. Ease of use was second at 48%, and customer support was next at 46%.
Another finding was that business travellers hotels close to their meeting (53%), reliable wireless phone service (28%) and wheeled suitcases (26%) as important “must haves” for business travel.
Other amenities were secondary such as fitness centers (14%), pools (10%) and a concierge (4%).
Half of the travelers surveyed planned to do the same amount of travel next year, while one quarter thought they would spend more time on the road.
