what is number one on the indsutry’s wish list?
Allotz.com survey reveals ‘set and forget’ inventory management system is number one on the industry’s wish list.
A recently completed global survey of thousands of individual properties and resellers by Allotz.com clearly shows the industry is hungry for a genuine solution to inventory management.
Of more than 9000 responses, the highest percentage confirmed their working life would become easier by eliminating the biggest ‘time takers’; daily/regular manual adjustment of rates and yield.
Allotz.com President Martin McConnachie said the survey responses had confirmed what the industry really wants.
“The survey clearly indicated operators want a true 24/7 single interface to work through. It means your optimum rates can be ‘everywhere’ without someone in your organization having to sit at the keyboard for hours to adjust the rates according to demand.†he said.
Mr McConnachie added that from all the respondents, there was a common factor.
“The survey revealed the difficult circumstances under which many of the operators deal with everyday by having to work through multi-channels, “he said.
Allotz.com’s suite of inventory management tools has been described as an industry breakthrough which has solved several of the major challenges; overselling of rooms, optimizing rates and automatically and dynamically distributing inventory to GDS and internet resellers.
Mr McConnachie said, there are thousands businesses out there struggling to keep up.
“Again, it was clear from the survey results that having to deal with multi-channels was a genuine challenge. We are delighted to have come up with a viable and cost-effective solution,†he said.
