Where the Bali Hell Are you viral campaign continues to kick the proverbials.
Brett Morgan, the originator with PR man Mike Parker-Brown of the excellent “Where the Bali Hell Are You” viral take off of Tourism Australia’s “Where the Bloody Hell Are You” campaign told The Mole this morning that he continues to be amazed by the response to the on line video clip.
He said that Channel Ten is already featuring the campaign with further planned coverage this evening, rumoured to possibly involve Australian Federal Minister Fran Bailey and Australian campaign personality Lara Bingle
Brett also told The Mole that they were inundated with emails of congratulation with an example received this morning, which said: –
“Your campaign is just unreal!!!” “We come to Bali each year (already booked to come on 23/12 for 4 weeks) and we have been begging some of our mates to join our family holiday for NYE”.
“Well guess what – after seeing your campaign today – another 3 of them just confirmed their flights”. “Never underestimate the power of a few to achieve a great deal”.
The email went on to say:
“I have been travelling to Bali for the last 11 years and it saddens me to see the impact of the tourist decline on the economy and locals – but every trip if I can convince on more family, one more couple to join us and see the beauty – I know like us – they will be repeat offenders”.
“Keep up the awesome work! and gosh if you ever need a HR manager who is desperate for an expat life in Bali – give me yell!”
Report from The Mole – where the Bali hell am I!
