Win a chance to sail on a Mauritius Tourism yacht
Mauritius has been announced as the major sponsor of the TravelMole inaugural yacht regatta, taking place on September 10.
As a reward to those that promote and sell Mauritius, the Mauritius Tourism Promotion Authority is offering five places on its own yacht to agents that take the most bookings during August.
See http://travelmole.com/Mauritius.html for full details.
Three separate races will take place in the waters of the Solent, near the sailing mecca of Cowes, starting at the Royal Southern Yacht Club in Southampton and ending at the Royal Corinthian Yacht Club on the Isle of Wight.
Eight crews from across the industry will battle in identical J109 yachts to win the ‘Mauritius Cup’.
"We are absolutely delighted to be the major sponsor of TravelMole’s yacht regatta," said Elaine Barrett of the Mauritius Tourism Promotion Authority.
"The island of Mauritius offers the sparkling turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean to sail as well as other water and land-based activities whilst staying in one of our many luxurious hotels. As such the link with TravelMole and yacht racing is an obvious one and we very much look forward to the day."
Other participants in the yacht regatta include Rock Insurance, Traveltek, Travel2, Pierre et Vacances, Seabourn, Getabed and Travelport.
