Fly-cruise rates and new Mediterranean itineraries feature in a 2008-08 sailing programme issued by Windstar Cruises.

The luxury sailing ship company has prices leading in at £1,264 for seven-nights on board  312-passenger Wind Surf from Nice to Barleona.

New for next year is a Wind Spirit itinerary from Malaga to Barcelona and an Adriatic sailing on Wind Star between Venice and Dubrovnik.

An eight-day cruise from Nice next May takes in the Cannes Film Festival and Monaco Grand Prix.

The programme features more than 100 ports of call in the Mediterranean in summer and Caribbean and Costa Rica in winter.

The line’s three vessels have been ungraded for next year with new menus, Apple iPod Nanos and Bose SoundDock speakers, wireless internet connections, L’Occitane bathroom amenities and expanded spa facilities.
