Winter comes back
Victorians skiers are getting a bonus to the ski season this year with the weather bureau predicting snow will fall in the alpine resorts later today.
Forecaster John Eliezer said cold air in the atmosphere was expected to produce snow in the areas of Mount Hotham, Falls Creek and Mount Beauty and at Mount Beauty, the temperature was down to minus one degrees.
“There may be as much as 10cm by this time tomorrow,” Mr Eliezer said. “It happens routinely (at this time of year), it’s not out of the ordinary.”
